Book Review #40 - Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (Harry Potter #3) by J.K. Rowling

Title: Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (Harry Potter #3)

Author: J.K. Rowling
Publisher: Bloomsbury

Published: 1999
Pages: 317

Harry Potter, along with his best friends, Ron and Hermione, is about to start his third year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Harry can't wait to get back to school after the summer holidays. (Who wouldn't if they lived with the horrible Dursley's?) But when Harry gets to Hogwarts, the atmosphere is tense. There's an escaped mass murderer on the loose, and the sinister prison guards of Azkaban have been called in to guard the school....

My Rating: 5/5
This is by far the best in the series so far. It goes way deeper into the story than the first two.

First, we learn alot more about Lily and James Potter and their deaths.

Secondly, Rowling has the amazing ability to introduce new characters like Lupin and Sirius that you like immediately and they feel like they've been there the whole time.
Considering how complicated the plot is, the book is free-flowing and very easy to understand.
