"It's Monday! What are you reading?" is a fun meme hosted by Sheila @ Book Journey. This is where we share the books we have read last week and our reading plans for this week.
The books that I reviewed last week are:
The Girl in the Clockwork Collar by Kady Cross;
7 Clues to Winning You by Kristin Walker;
One Day by David Nicholls
The book I am currently reading is:
Clay Jensen returns home from school to find a mysterious box with his name on it lying on his porch. Inside he discovers cassette tapes recorded by Hannah Baker—his classmate and crush—who committed suicide two weeks earlier.
On tape, Hannah explains that there are thirteen reasons why she decided to end her life. Clay is one of them. If he listens, he’ll find out how he made the list.
Through Hannah and Clay’s dual narratives, debut author Jay Asher weaves an intricate and heartrending story of confusion and desperation that will deeply affect teen readers.

Something bugs me about Thirteen Reasons Why. I could never bring myself to adding it to my list because of the description. On the other hand the Clockwork Collar book sounds pretty neat. Hope you enjoy all your books!

So sad. Not sure I could get through such a sad book. I should read it, I think, despite my reluctance. Let's hope there is consolation there for sensitive teen readers.
