TGIF #21

Hosted by Ginger over at G-Reads

This weeks question is:

Comfort Reads: Which books do you go to for comfort & familiarity?
Is there a type of book you seek out when you're needing that extra bit of comfort in your life?

Whenever I find myself in a reading slump I re-read the Harry Potter series. So far this year I have read the first two books.

  1. Ah, I do that, too, very often! Sometimes I even listen to the (German) audiobook. Rufus Beck has this awesome voice, and just listening to that comforts me. :'D

  5. I love The Harry Potter series. I don't re-read much, but that's definitely a set of books I would go back to again and again.

  6. Can't go wrong with Harry Potter! I reread all of the books prior to the release of book 7, but haven't been back to revisit the series since then. I think I'm waiting 'til I can read them with my future kids, and relive the magic by watching someone else experience the books for the first time.
