Insta-love is terrible and overdone these days, so I agree. Bad editing is definitely a deal breaker. I've run across books that everyone is raving about and yet I can't get past the first chapter because the editing is so bad.

Long chapters don't bother me too much, I just bookmark anywhere so I don't have to feel like I have to read the entire chapter. Long paragraphs, that's another story.

Yeah! Insta-love annoys me too. I don't really mind extremely long chapters as long as it's engaging and fast-paced :)
