This book was very predictable, but that didn't stop me from enjoying it, although I would have liked to have seen more of Ever seeing people's auras and reading minds but that is rarely explored.
Damen didn't develop much throughout the book, you never really find out much about him although that will probably come later in the series.
I completely agree with your review, but give 'Blue Moon' a go (the next in the series), I think it's actually the best one.
