I had really high expectations for this book as I had heard so many positive reviews about it. Unfortunately, this book did not reach them.
The writing was the highlight for me. It was so enchanting and beautifully written, it definitely helped encapsulate the story. I will definitely be reading the author's future books.
The problem I had with the book was that it was slow paced and I found myself waiting for something to happen.
I actually put the book down for a long time about 100 or so pages in with no intentions of finishing it and it would have been the first book that I couldn't finish.
I did end up finishing it because when I picked it up again I actually got immersed in the story.
I really liked the twins, Ethan, Marco and Celia. The rest of the characters I didn't really care for and some I kept getting them mixed up.
